This is very unique. It was the third Korina guitar made by Carving for me. I ordered three as prototypes and then Carvin offered Korina as a standard up charge. Other prototype features are that the neck is a FAT NECK based on my 59 Les Paul. It is .89 at the first fret and .98 inch at the 12th. The Korina body is also quarter sawn like on the original gibson 58/59 explorers and v's and the guitar itself is lightweight and two pieces of Korina. NOT two pieces and a koruna cap like current production korunas. The pickups are Seymour Duncan and the pots are push pull cts pots. The volume is a phase push pull and the tone is a coil tap. The bridge is a gold Super VEE Blade runner and will still in tune like a floyd rose but you do not need a locking nut and it resonates so much more than any floydGuitar weight 7 lbs 5 ounces.
