Fender Costom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Relic Vintage Blonde which uses Ash for the body unusually in 1960 type. As for the body material of Stratocaster, I will review it roughly, Ash was used at the time of the 1954 Stratocaster announcement. After that, it was changed to Alder around 1956, Alder material is the usual specification until around the 1970's. However, even when Alder is normally used, Ash was used for Blonde color through which wood grain can be seen. This machine is also the same as then, 1960 Stratocaster but because of the Blonde color Ash material is adopted for the body. The sound coexists with the 1954 style Ash body / Maple fingerboard with a dry texture and a slightly sweet and thick tone of 1960 style Alder body / Rosewood fingerboard coexisting in good balance. It is exquisite salt plum like a thick sound of style in 1954, like sound of style of 1960 style made well sound. It is also recommended for the main guitar because it is a large individual so it is a guitar that becomes a good existence even as a sub-guitar, as a different strato with a slightly different sound tendency from the main strato. Neck shape is a thin C shape as seen in Fender 's early 60' s, finger board R is also 7.25 inch like Vintage, frets are Vintage type. The reduction of frets is few, the state of the neck is almost straight, and it is the ideal state as a guitar. The truss rod has plenty of room, and the state of the electrical system is also good. We are also cleaning and set up so you can use it with immediate fighting force. Body: Ash
