Fender Custom Shop Master Built 1972 Stratocaster Heavy Relic by Dale Wilson. Dale Wilson is a master builder who has been involved in making various brands of guitar such as Dobro, Rickenbacker, Guild, Gretc, Benedetto. The specification conforms to that in 1972, the body is alder, rose fingerboard, maple neck, large head. Also, just two string guides and three point stop neck joints which are features from this year are reproduced. Neck shape is a slightly thin U shape that is common in Fender 70's. The finger board R is adopted 9.5 inches which is flat than 7.25 inches of Vintage. Fret size is the same size as Jim Dunlop 6100 (jumbo type). Also, PU has original PU handwound by Dale Wilson. As in those days, we adopted gray bobbin in the staggered pole piece and the signature of Dale Wilson on the reverse side. Since the reduction of frets is scarcely seen, there is little feeling in use, so it is a condition that you can have a good impression. The state of the neck is also good, and it is confirmed that the margin of the truss rod also has margin both in the forward warping direction and the reverse warping direction.
