Stunning Blonde Nocaster! Fender Custom Shop Nocaster pickups, USA CTS pots & knobs, USA Oak Grigsby switch & jack. Bone nut. NOS Mullard Tropical Fish tone cap (secret sauce! Believe us on this one - we have shot out caps from just about every make & era - the Tropical Fish just works with this guitar & these pickups! Tone that will make a grown man cry! Seriously wow!)5-hole single-ply vintage pickguard.Vintage slot screws used throughout.6 x brass-saddle through-body bridge - contentious perhaps but as a result this tele intonates perfectly - as opposed to its 3-saddle cousins.Blonde "Thin Skin" nitrocellulose relic'ed 2-piece American Swamp Ash body, USA 1-piece rock maple vintage "fat" neck finished with vintage tint saturn nitro by Ian Batten - Ian has been doing vintage-correct nitrocellulose lacquer sprays and refinishes for the last decade or so. He is just a bit passionate about the sonic/tonal, tactile, resonant, & aesthetic benefits of nitrocellulose lacquer. If you've ever played a pre-'65 fender you'll understand!Master-Built + Wiring by Jon Dickinson (of Dickinson Amps fame - please google Jon's website as eBay doesn't like weblinks).Jon is a bonafide guitar & amp guru. He makes ridiculously boutique point-to-point valve amps for the likes of Muse (checkout their London Olympic opening ceremony performance) and has been repairing/setting up vintage guitars & basses for the baddest cats in the business for a very long time. His amazing workshop is based in Crystal Palace, South London. Pop in if you're in the neighbourhood but be warned: it's like a candy shop to a diabetic baby! This Tele is THE one! It's a stunning head-turner, and a flippin' revelation to play! Jon & Ian are both pained to send her out into the world but this is a new venture for the two boys - building gorgeous guitars that they would dearly love to keep themselves.
