For sale is my 2001 Gibson Les Paul 1960 Classic. The guitar is in excellent condition and has not had much use outside of my home studio. There is one bash on the lower bout near the jack socket which is shown in the pics. The frets are in excellent condition, having been dressed recently for the first time. The pickups have been upgraded to Dimarzio 36th anniversary with aged covers, the wiring has been upgraded to an RS guitar works vintage kit. The original Gibson 490R and 490T pickups and wiring kit are included with the sale. Guitar is set up with D'addario 10's, has a low action and plays like a dream after having been set up at PMT Manchester. This is a seriously good sounding and playing guitar is way better than the current custom shop models I have played. This was a good year for Gibson, the current Les Paul standards and classics with their digital tuners pale in comparison to this. I am very sad to see this go, but having become a P90 man I am on the look out for a good Les Paul junior or special in TV yellow. Any questions just ask.
