I got it from a friend who tried to earn guitar. when he realized it was actually hard work, he gave it up. it sat in the case under his bed for about 6 years. it is the perfect example of Japanese craftsmanship. the precision work is unparalleled. these are made in the team j-craft Fiji gen plant known for their quality. the body, neck, frets, tremolo etc. are absolutely wonderful, the body is not quite perfect though. there are some very minor pick scuffs and 1 small edge ding on the bottom back. its equipped with the edge low pro tremolo. it is loaded with the v8, v7 alnico humbuckers with a s1 alnico single coil. the humbuckers are run through a push pull tone pot that will split them into single coils. so you can get the classic strat tones as well as the thick humbucker tones. the v7 neck is run through the push pull volume pot that will activate it in any position of the 5 way. so you can use the neck and bridge pickups together(in either humbucker or single coil mode). so you can get the classic les paul middle or telecaster middle position tones. the 2 pots really open up the versatility of the guitar. the tone capacitor is a vintage GE .047. the case is shows some wear. but the latches and straps work as new. .
