Fender Stratocaster, ‘57, Lake Placid Blue, 1989, Lace Sensor Pickups --- FREE DELIVERY AUSTRALIA WIDE --- 1989-90, Made In Japan, “J” serial This is the rare to find and limited model ST-500VM It is a ’57 style model from the late 1980’s These models were a higher end than a standard ST57 model. Within the sort after, late 80’s, FujiGen production period. They included Alder bodies, 22 Fret necks, and more uncommon finishes. Particularly metallic and transparent red/green/blue colours. Lake Placid blue finish, with a slight green shade in certain light 2 piece, 50/50 split, Alder body, one ply white pickguard Maple one piece neck, 42mm nut 7.25” board, vintage 22 frets Standard 25.5” scale, soft “C” profile Slab Rosewood fretboard Upgraded with Fender Lace Sensor Pickups and Fender active preamp Neck: Lace Sensor SilverMiddle: Lace Sensor SilverBridge: Lace Sensor Blue These pickups were massive in the 90’s and for good reason. The Lace Sensor Blue has a slightly louder and clearer output, reduced hum and 50/60cycle noise, and a warmer 50’s humbucker style tone whilst still keeping an overall single coil sound. The Lace Sensor Silvers are a fat 70's single coil sound with increased output and more mid-range (Think early Smashing Pumpkins tone). The preamp controls are Volume, master tone, and preamp volume. This configuration gives a much larger array of possibilities and tones. Especially when using dirt, overdrive or fuzz pedal. Turn up the pre amp and really push your sound !!! True to era 50’s “spaghetti” logo headstock Fender stamped bridge saddles Gotoh tuners, top mount truss rod For a Strat nearing 30 years of age this is a great find Excellent condition, only 2-3 minor blemishes Includes a Fender Gig Case ITEM CONDITION All machinery, electrical, and pickups are perfect.
