Sostituisce la precedente e fortunata serie American Standard. La serie Fender American Professional è caratterizzata dall'introduzione di nuovi modelli, nuovi colori e finiture e nuove interessanti caratteristiche. Il manico ha un nuovo e moderno profilo a Deep C, una via di mezzo tra un C e un U, la tastiera è comoda e veloce grazie ai tasti narrow tall. Il capotasto è in osso. Il V Mod Pick-up set è il nuovo cavallo di battaglia della serie Fender American Professional Series, è il cuore della chitarra. I pick-up sono in alnico e ogni singolo magnete è studiato e costruito per la posizione in cui viene installato per esaltare al meglio le caratteristiche dello strumento. Il set è pensato per ottenere un suono moderno, senza tralasciare le classiche e storiche timbriche delle chitarre Fender. Tutte le chitarre della serie Fender American Professional series sono incluse di un nuovo astuccio rigido Elite, sagomato all’interno per offrire la massima protezione dello strumento, le chiusure sono TSA-approved per garantire la massima sicurezza. L' esterno è sagomato in modo da facilitare l’incastro di più astucci e rendere sicuro il trasporto. Nella parte elettronica si presenta il nuovo circuito “treble bleed� che mantiene inalterati gli alti quando si agisce sul potenziometro del volume abbassandolo per ridurre il gain, permettendo al tuo suono di rimanere brillante e inalterato, a prescindere dalla posizione del volume.
