1970 Fender Telecaster. Body is refinished in Fiesta Red lacquer by Fiesta Finishes™. The neck is all original, finish, frets, decal.Original parts include pickups, bridge/saddles, control plate, tuners, strap buttons, etc.The body was routed for a humbucker at one point however, this has been professionally repaired, and the neck pickup cavity is now back to original Telecaster specifications. The guard has been replaced. Pots are brand new CTS Fender spec units.The guitar weighs 7.2 lbs. The serial number is 297XXX. Neck date is OCT 70. Pickups measure 7.0K Ohms at neck and 5.9K Ohms at bridge. The nice, big neck measures .899" at 1st fret and .970" at 12th fret. Necks from this period are fantastic, reminiscent of those from the Black Guard days!The guitar ships in a newer, Fender plastic case.Great feel, great sound from this guitar.
