Hi, you're looking at a vintage, super rare AMS DMX Keyboard Interface/Chorus Controller! With new DB25 lead for connection to your DMX-1580s or S-DMX. Power lead also included. The chorus controller adds massively to the DMX unit, first off it turns it into one of the best and most unique stereo chorus units you'll ever hear..then the keyboard function allows you to play samples from within the DMX with delayed effects etc across a CV/gate equipped synthesisers . Also it allows you to control pitch creatively on the fly using knob turns instead having to key in pitch adjustments.. The unit itself is in great condition with only minimal marking from normal operation. This unit was used only in a non-smoking studio enviroments since new. Everything works great and It sounds totally amazing! Set for 240 volt operation but can easily be switched to 120 Volts if the need arises.
Note: If you wish to use the keyboard interface function with a CV/gate equipped synth you will need a 5 pin XLR >>CV/gate lead(not currently included). You can source one/make one yourself(with my instructions) or if you get stuck I could be persuaded to make you one. Here's a video of the chorus controller in operation. These units have (and still are) been used on countless hit records. They really need no introduction. There is no alternative If you want this sound, plug-ins and even the new hardware effects just don't come close to the sound of these vintage AMS units.
