Here we have a really Nice--American Made --Fender American Special Telecaster. Probably Fenders Best selling American made guitar. This was handpicked for me by a friend at sweetwater Music. Nice see thru grain on blonde alder body--nice color match with maple fingerboard and neck. Pro setup--Low action that plays like butter- no fret wear--and perfectly level-- saddle screws are flush with the top of the brass saddles--no cut up right hands! Non beveled fender bakelite pickguard. John Galep hand scatterwound 5/2 Dawgtown pickups. Alnico 5 bass side magnets and alnico 2 treble side. Clear bass and non brittle treble--these pickups sound fantastic! 6 3/4lbs even and nicely balanced. Ive played and owned a bunch of these guitars and this one is a really good one. Its been played -1 tiny back edge chip near the jack--u can see it on the rear pic. Theres another rear edge ding on the upper back and a couple of buckle marks on the back. If your looking for a great playing and sounding American made tele under 7lbs this is it. Includes the Fender heavy Gig bag--pickups/guard/setup was a 300$ upgrade-----35$ flat rate ship on continental US. Thanks for looking :)
