PLEASE CALL US TOLL FREE FOR AN IN-HAND DESCRIPTIONASK FOR JOHN1-800-800-0087  What makes this guitar special: This is absolutely the most faithful reproduction of an original 1954 Stratocaster available anywhere and was only made in limited amounts for good reason. Just about every facet of this build is true to the first few Strats to roll off the human-hand line. Its ash body features the original cuts and contours this model was made with, plus a weather-checked Closet Classic finish to give it both the look and feel of the original. Not only is the tremolo bridge and bridge cover modeled piece-by-piece after the ’54, but the materials used to make its plastic parts were all identified and sourced to be added as close to the original as possible. The control knobs, switch tip, period-correct tremolo plate, and custom-tooled pickup covers are all era-appropriate high-styrene ABS plastic, all modeled down to the exact shape and lettering that were originally used. The pickguard is even traditional .070” PVC. Its one-piece maple neck is also accurate with a chunky U shape, 7.25” radius fingerboard, and 1 5/8” bone nut. Its pickups are unlike any others outside of an authentic set and boast the perfect vintage jangle that will help take players back through time. If that wasn’t enough, Fender even recreated the first strap it was issued with to add as much tribute value as possible. It also includes a form fit case for safe travel and the original-style poodle case.Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only minor dings and light scratches outside of the purposeful Closet Classic style weather-checked finish, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a used guitar and looks like it was barely taken out of the case. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. Body: Original 1954-spec, two-piece, double cutaway and contoured ash body in Closet Classic weather-checked nitrocellulose lacquer 2-Tone Sunburst finish. Faithfully replicated 6-saddle tremolo bridge and bridge cover. Control knobs, pickup covers, period-correct round-holed tremolo back plate, and switch cap are era-appropriate high-styrene ABS plastic and the pickguard is .070” PVC.
