Description 1996 Fender Stratocaster 50th Anniversary Flamed Maple Top & Back Gold HW  Here's a very rare and cool Strat that has some nice features you won't find on other American Standards. Built to celebrate Fender's 50th anniversary, only 2500 were built. I've heard these were Custom Shop instruments. A really unique Strat. The body is alder and features a flame maple top and back. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of special 50th anniversary American Standard Single Coil pickups deliver vintage tones. The pickups are hooked to a 5 way switch for tons of options. A modern 2 point trem and sealed tuners keep it all rock solid. All hardware is gold plated for a classy look including the special 50th anniversary neck plate. An antique sunburst finish adorns this beauty for a cool 50s look. A great instrument that would make Leo proud. This is a good playing and sounding Strat. The modern C shaped neck and big frets make for an easy to play guitar that can handle big blues bends. The pickups have good tone and offer tons of versatility. Excellent condition, just some very light finish wear on some spots and some gold wear on the hardware. Serial# 2000 of 2500 made. Including original Fender case. PRICE TOO HIGH?? EMAIL ME AN OFFER!
