A 2016 J-45 Standard with an awesome tone! I bought this only 3 months ago and it's in EXCELLENT condition. Just recently had a setup and now has perfect intonation and fast, low action. The tone on this is dark and dry and very Gibson-y, which is why I bought it in the first place. The only reason I'm selling is because I bought a vintage J-45 and can't afford to keep both around--otherwise I wouldn't let this guitar go. This J-45 came without a pickguard, so I installed a firestripe pickguard from Terrapin Guitars. Similar to what you would see on a J-45 Vintage model.I have had this guitar buffed and polished so that there are no marks on the top or back or anywhere. There are only 2 EXTREMELY MINOR things that keep this guitar from being MINT:

There is some very minor finish rippling on one side of the pickguard, just under the top strings, where the stock pickguard would have originally been glued. You have to know it's there and be looking for it--not more than 1/8 inch wide.A slight impression (about 1/4-inch long, width of maybe half of your index fingernail) that is shallow and does not break the finish, just under where your picking arm would sit. Again, you have to know it's there and be looking for it.This J45 looks like it just came off the guitar store floor, because basically it just did.Comes with original Gibson hardshell case pictured.
