Here we have a very nice ALL ORIGINAL 1959 Strat neck. It is an early "slab board" with a nice, thick fret board of rose wood. The frets are original and are still full of life. It retains it's original decal in great shape. I am even including it's ORIGINAL single line Kluson tuners !! They are in very good shape and all work as they should. It has the clay fret board markers. It has a very small crack by the bass E tuner that was repaired many years ago and has no affect at all. It is strong and has been for many years. There is no pencil date at the base of the neck, which, for those who know, is normal for this year. I guarantee it is the real thing !! I had it mounted on a refinished body for many years and it is absolutely an amazing playing neck. It is the smaller size typical of early '59 necks, not chunky at all. It appears to have had another string tree installed at one time which was removed and hole plugged long ago. It's hardly noticeable. These don't come up for sale very often and are rare ! Don't miss your chance to own one the most iconic Strat necks ever made !!                                                                                                                                                                **  2/25/17   ** By the way. I have had a couple people mention the crack by the low E tuning key. It is over 20 years old, very solid, and is not going anywhere !!
The close up picture actually makes it looks worse than it is. I also took the tuners off and added a few pictures showing that it did at one time long ago have different tuners. I never knew this as I have never taken the tuners off. The holes were filled and they are hard to see. They are impossible to see with the original tuners back on. No biggie.
