If you know ESP's recent history then you know ESP no longer offers its ESP "Standard" models. Those are now called E-II. This guitar was built in 2012, and did not leave the warehouse until recently purchased by a shop where I purchased it from.This is becoming a very rare find! In addition, before I took delivery of this guitar I had a Fishman Fluence Modern pickup installed. This pickup is a huge upgrade over the already venerable EMG 81. The Fishman Fluence Modern offers 2 voicings, one very tight and focused modern metal voicing, and a thick/chunky classic metal voicing. It's switched from a push/pull control on the lone volume knob on the guitar. The pickup was professionally installed.I absolutely hate to part with this guitar but I have my eyes on a new PRS and things need to go in order for that to happen. However, I would love to see this beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship go to someone who will truly appreciate its worth!The guitar is in beautiful condition with zero, and I mean zero imperfections. It comes with its original hard shell ESP case/tools.
