Here's a bit of a Gem.. This is a 1993American Series Stratocaster Plus Ultra in a very vibrant "Crimson Red", with a nice AA+ Flamed Maple Top. They were introduced in 1990 and Fender ended production in 1998, and when this color was selected the body was made of ash rather than the usual and much more common alder. Pictures do not do this finish justice, as it's hard to photograph the subtle grain patterns that show through the translucent surface. Some Nice Flaming . As cool as this color is, that's not what makes it a gem... that would be the Playability which is killer. As you already know, i have ALOT of Strats, but these models are fairly scarce and hard to come by. Very collectible at the moment. The last one i sold in this colour went for 2299.99 within a few weeks. The Guitar can be purchased via my website for a few hundred quid less. The bridge still incorporates a "string-through" design along with the Old school Locking nut, similar to the one used on modern Strats. As a result, these guitars have amazing sustain and a "solid" feel that even a blocked tremolo can't duplicate. A red Lace Sensor humbucker at the bridge teams with a silver in the middle and a blue Sensor at the neck.This Strat plays and sounds great. The action is Low, the frets are in great shape and the neck is straight. The Lace Sensors pickups deliver a variety of tones. Like i previously Mentioned this is a fairly clean used guitar. It has seen very little playtime and was very well looked after. It only shows some very light pick and clearcoat scratche. Please be aware that everything on the guitar is original. Comes in the original Croc Skin Hardcase with a pile of case candy. This is an impressive package for anyone that can appreciate a Seriosly good investment and all round killer Strat.
