DescriptionThe Fender James Burton Telecaster is a great tribute to the master of chicken pickin'! Made in the USA to the highest standards, this is a great guitar if you're looking for versatility. The body is basswood for defined tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a maple fingerboard with 21 frets. A trio of special James Burton pickups deliver great tone. A string through bridge and pearl button tuners seal the deal. The finish is a crazy red flame paisley on black. Very hot rod looking! A great and hard to find guitar that will excel at many genres of music. This Tele plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the frets are good and full with low action. The pickups deliver great Fender tone but with low noise. They are clear yet high output and work great clean, dirty or with effects. Lots of Tele like tones as well as Strat flavours here. This is a solid guitar in very good condition. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches as well as one repared chip to the paintwork near the neck pickup. Very nice instrument. Comes in a Fender tweed hardshell case. The Burton Tele is one of Fender's harder to find models. A unique combination of features and looks. This may be your best bet at grabbing one. A new Burton will cost you a whopping £1899 in stores. Here's a nice one that will save you some cashSerial Number: N4944257Time of manufacture: 1994Place of manufacture: Corona, California.
