1985 jackson soloist 2 hum with kahler - San Dimas Factory
Most Soloist in this era of Soloist will be Hum-Single-Single. Very very RARE Beast.This is the closest thing i could find to the original jeff hanneman jackson he used. This one is older but very close to what he play starting in 1988 and thru 2001 after the Still Raining video I think he stopped playing it Live. It has a Bill Lawrence XL500 in the bridge - this is what I believe jeff Played in his Les Paul in the Show NO Mercy and Hell Awaits years. There is some conflicting info online regarding this pickup but its clear to me based on photos its a XL500. I've had a EMG 81-85 in it and it sounded great but I prefer the XL500 in this guitar.Condition is good. Jackson uses a Poly Paint that is very tough and very hard to scratch but it will chip. It has chips on the end of headstock, by the input area along the back side edge and on the backside upper horn (please see photos. The Screened print is from the backside of the album Reign in Blood and it can be easily removed and polished to new condition if the buyer wants (allow 1 extra day) This has been my main guitar for 6 years. I don't play it anymore due to playing my own guitars I'm building. I have the Original Seymour Duncan Distortion it came with and also including the Original Case which does have a broken latch but still works.
