Fender Thinline Telecaster JA-90 Jim Adkins Seymour Duncan SP90 pickups with case What we have here is a Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 model thinline Telecaster. This model is basically a Thinline semi-hollow Telecaster with two Duncan SP90 soapbar pickups, each with a volume and tone control, an Adjustomatic (TM) bridge and stop bar tailpiece, and set neck construction. The body is made of ash with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. This guitar plays great and sounds soooo sweet. The Seymour Duncan SP90's sound very much like P-90's that compliment the rest of this guitar's appointments and construction very nicely. The sound is a bit warmer than the typical Tele sound but it's not a typical Tele. Great for any shade of rock, blues. Sounds killer when overdriven and cool when clean.from Fender:
