The GLXD14/Beta98H Instrument Wireless System from Shure includes a GLXD1 bodypack transmitter, a GLXD4 receiver, and a Beta 98H/C cardioid clip-on instrument mic. The system operates on the 2.4GHz ISM band in the Z2 frequency band between 2400 and 2483.5MHz. Both the GLXD1 transmitter and the GLXD4 receiver feature Shure's LINKFREQ automatic frequency management that allows them to scan for the clearest frequency available and automatically link to each other without any setup required from you besides turning both units on. With their continuous interference monitoring, both the transmitter and receiver automatically switch to the clearest frequencies available to avoid interference and dropouts. The GLXD1 includes a rechargeable battery pack that provides up to 16 hours of operation from a full charge. The system has a 200' range of operation and can be used with 7 other GLX-D systems simultaneously. The Beta98H/C mic has a 10' flexible cable as well as a gooseneck with ratcheting swivel joint that allows for a variety of placement options. Its clip is designed to clamp onto the bell of your sax, woodwind, or brass instrument. It can handle an SPL of up to 155dB, making it well suited for the volume levels of most brass and woodwinds.
GLXD4 Digital Wireless Receiver (Z2 Band: 2400 - 2483.5 MHz)
The GLXD4 Digital Wireless Receiver from Shure is designed to work with Shure's GLX-D series digital wireless systems. It operates on Shure's Z2 frequency band between 2400 and 2483.5 MHz on a 2.4 GHz ISM wireless band. Shure's proprietary LINKFREQ automatic frequency management, which scans for clearest available frequency range, will automatically link the GLXD4 and a compatible transmitter. The GLXD4 has continuous interference monitoring and will automatically switch frequencies to avoid interference and drop outs. The integrated battery charging station allows you to charge your transmitter when not in use, or a back-up battery pack while in use. Your transmitters remaining battery life is displayed on the GLXD4's front-panel LCD screen. Up to 8 systems can be used simultaneously.

GLXD1 Bodypack Transmitter (Z2 Band: 2400 - 2483.5 MHz)
The GLXD1 Bodypack Transmitter from Shure is designed to work with Shure's GLX-D series digital wireless systems. It operates on Shure's Z2 frequency band between 2400 and 2483.5 MHz on a 2.4 GHz ISM wireless band. The transmitter provides up to a 200' range of operation and features Shure's LINKFREQ automatic frequency management that allows it to automatically link to a GLX-D compatible transmitter without having to perform any setup. It includes a rechargeable battery pack that provides up to 16 hours of performance time per charge. The battery can be recharged with the included USB charger cable. A 15-minute charge can provide up to 1.5 hours of performance time. The GLXD1 has a 4-pin TA4M connector and is compatible with both lavalier microphones as well as instrument cables with a proper adapter.
BETA-98H/C - Clip-On Condenser Microphone
The Beta 98H/C is a cardioid, mini-condenser instrumental microphone with in-line preamplifier is designed to clearly capture the sounds of today's professional horn players. The pickup pattern of the Beta 98H/C provides high gain-before-feedback and excellent rejection of unwanted noise. With a high maximum sound pressure level (SPL), the Beta 98H/C is ready to handle the demands of brass and woodwind instruments, and is a strong performer for percussion applications. The transformerless preamplifier circuitry of the Beta 98H/C improves linearity across the full frequency range. In situations where phantom power is not available, the MX1-BP battery-powered preamplifier will perform exceptionally. The integrated gooseneck and ratcheting swivel joint of the Beta 98H/C allows for easy microphone positioning and securing. Once the position is determined, the gooseneck angle brace ensures that the Beta 98H/C will stay in place during even the most active performances.
