1963 Fender Esquire/Telecaster Body
Estimated price for orientation: 2 000 $
Category: Electric Guitars
Class:
Description Exact Year: 1963 Brand: Fender
This listing is for an Original Vintage 1963 Fender Esquire / Telecaster Guitar Body, great old wood treasure. My friend bought it with the intention of sending it to MJT for a relic paint job. Unfortunately he ran out of steam and money to continue his project. The body has been completely stripped of it's original finish and all parts. The body has also been routed for a a P-90 shaped pickup in the neck position. The body is pencil dated 63 in the bridge pickup cavity. The neck pocket still has some of the original paint stick and pencil markings. The body has all the correct nail holes and body dowels for authentication. There is a nail hole in the neck cavity and also on the side of the control cavity and the body has correct dowel holes on the back of the body. The body has all the correct pickguard screw holes and does not appear to have to any modifications other than the neck pickup route and stripped finish. The body appears to be made of ash and weighs 4 LBS & 6.4 ounces. This is a great vintage Fender for a restoration project and should really sing with a good neck on it.
