Absolutely wonderful 2016 Fender American Vintage 59 Stratocaster reissue in Shoreline Gold. I chose this guitar from the dozen other reissues I tried, it is simply an incredible Stratocaster. Guitar is in great condition, lightly played and well maintained. It does have a scratch on the back seen in the photos and some light checking in the front and back seen in the photos. Checking is common on any new Fender AVRI. Likely to the very thin Nitrocellulose lacquer like that used on the guitars of the 50's. You will notice this Stratocaster has a Rosewood neck, not offered by Fender with this color combo. I purchased a separate 2016 59 Fender AVRI neck from the Stratosphere as I wanted a gold, 'transitional' 59 Reissue with Rosewood neck and white 8 screw guard. One of the prettiest Strats you'll find and better than any Custom Shop Fender I've owned. It's up there with the Pre-CBS models I do have. Includes original brown Tolex case, paperwork, case candy, accessories etc. The next owner will love this guitar. I wouldn't think about selling it, but I'm simply a Jazzmaster player and I hate seeing it sit in it's case being Un-played.
