Crafted from mahogany, the ESP LTD FRX-401 features a distinctively shaped body that sports a pair of comfortably beveled cutaways for enhanced comfort and superior upper fret access. The neck is carved from maple into ESP's thin U profile and carries a rosewood fingerboard with 24 XJ frets for ultra-fast playability and effortless string bending. The set-thru-neck design offers exceptional stability and sustain.Fitted with a pair of active EMG 81/EMG 60 bridge and neck pickups, the LTD FRX-401 delivers all the power, tone and crunch that hard rockers and metal players crave. The no-nonsense control layout consists of a single volume control, a single tone control and a 3-way toggle switch for quick and easy tone shaping.For optimum performance and sleek looks, the ESP LTD FRX-401 comes equipped with all black hardware which includes a black molded nut, a set of Grover tuners and an LTD fixed bridge. Case not included.
