1934 Rudall Carte Cocus Wood Open G# FluteThe flute body is marked with a crown followed by Rudall Carte & Co, LTD, 23 Berners Street, Oxford Street, London, 7716. The head is marked with a crown followed by Rudall Carte & Co, London. The wood looks good for it's age and has minor marks and blemishes. There is signs of use around the embouchure but it is mild. At the top of the body there is some minor marks. This can be seen in the last picture. The keys all move well. I am unsure if the pads need changing or not. This Rudall Carte Flute was made by Edwin Friggens in 1934 as one of a batch of 5 flutes. It is made from cocus wood and has a solid silver lined head with nickel silver keys. "A" =440 with the headjoint 1/8" out. The case is not the original and is a modern one and in a good condition and secure. People are welcome to view any of the items which I have for sale. I live in Littlehampton, West Sussex area.
