Up for sale is very rare 12 string Rickenbacker in mapleglo finish, made in USA 1991.Originally a 6 string guitar but has been modified to 12 string using factory stock 12 string spec R tailpiece and bridge. Original tuner and screw hole has been plugged with maple cap and secondary string slot has been created exactly as original one. The guitar also has built in FX80B DOD circuit and run by battery now has crystal clear tone with extra sustain and tremolo effect.
For getting extra direct tone, both tone has been off. All modification has been professionally done and it is very tidy job but for those who wish to have original circuit, I'm happy to put everything back but personally I think this mod has been maximizing the tone character of 12 string Ricky.
Equipping its original High gain pickups sings traditional jingle Ricky sounding. Neck is perfectly straight and frets still has good life left, Very lovely playing guitar.
It has been carefully looked after so has no major dents or scratch and having vintage vibe weather checks all over, very clean yet looks very mojo and vintage.
Nicely set up with brand new Daddario EXL150(10-46), All ready to go.Prices to sell due to modification but it does sound and plays better than one in the retail shop with price tag of $4000.00.Comes with original hard shell case.Buyer to pay $60 flat rate postage Australia wide or $90 include full delivery insurance, Local pick up or inspection welcome from Ringwood east VIC
