RARE LENNON MODEL!Please note....a couple of the pics also show my 1992 Rickenbacker 325/JL, as well as some other guitars.There are also pics of some of my other Beatle-related Rickenbackers.I'll be listing those separately too, but feel free to ask questions about them if you're interested. Those guitars will be listed in another auction. In THIS auction, you are bidding on ONE GUITAR, the 1990 355/12/JG. NOT BOTH! Just wanted to be CLEAR!RICKENBACKER 355/12JL in JetGloFULL SCALE 12 STRING RICKENBACKERMade to look like John's iconic 3/4 size Rick 325 but in full scale for the player who needs the extra size to play his best, and this one is a 12 string to boot! What a cool guitar! Awesome player and incredible tone! And SO RARE!AND!In addition to the EXTREME RARITY,This example even has the ORIGINAL paperwork package, with the original envelope from Rickenbacker, labeled with the correct serial number, and in it, has the original COA, and blank warranty card! It is EXCEEDINGLY rare to find an example with these documents intact! But here, you will get them! Check the pics!Below, the company hype at the time these guitars were released:John Lennon Limited Edition; Rickenbacker Introduces New Guitar - 1/1/1990325JL, 355JL, 355/12JLSanta Ana, California (January 1, 1990) Rickenbacker International Corporation announces the acceptance of orders for the John Lennon Limited Edition. As a rock 'n roll legend and spokesperson for world peace, John Lennon used the Rickenbacker sound almost exclusively during his early days with the Beatles.The John Lennon Limited Edition, Model 325JL, is entirely handmade in America from solid Eastern Rock Maple with a rosewood fingerboard on a three quarter scale neck complemented with three vintage Rickenbacker pickups. The instrument comes standard with vintage vibrato. This series offers features which make it unique within the Rickenbacker product line. The Company located some of the original tooling to insure faithful recreation of the headstock, pickguard and nameplate. Also offered are the 355 JL and the 355/12 JL. The 355 JL is a full scale version of the 325 JL and the 355/12 JL is its 12-string compliment. Both guitars feature trapeze tailpiece. I know you'll be thrilled with it!It will show some signs of aging like the case for the 355, which has one damaged latch. Some signs of polish swirling maybe, that kind of thing, but NO chips and gouges or anything terrible like that!
