2010 Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1960 Les Paul Plaintop Reissue R0 G0 Honeyburst

For sale is this 2010 Gibson Custom Art & Historic 1960 Reissue Plaintop Les Paul, which is based on the “Chicken Shack Burst” 1960 Les Paul, #0 0205 on page 118 of the book “Beauty of the ‘Burst” by Yasuhiko Iwanade. Gibson won’t confirm what this burst is actually called, but it looks like a Honeyburst to me (I’ve also seen it referred to as Lemon Burst). This is a somewhat limited run of R0’s made specifically for Guitar Center with plain tops. I’ve been told that they limit the run to 50 guitars per year, but that cannot be confirmed. This Les Paul is absolutely incredible, and is probably the best “bang-for-your-buck” Les Paul you can buy! Weighing in right at 9lbs, this Les Paul is perfectly balanced without being a backbreaker. The sustain this thing has is crazy…and the articulation in each note will give you chills! This “G0” is loaded with Burstbucker 1 and 2, and has 4 push/pull pots for coil splitting, phase inversion and a killswitch (Guitar Center-exclusive features). Other features include a 1960 neck profile, long tenon neck joint set with hide glue, a thin nitro finished with aged hardware, and a non-chambered body. It has been played and shows very minor signs of use (some finish swirling, a micro-ding or two, a tiny bit of light worming on the side of the horn, and a couple of small dings on the edge of the headstock - see detailed photos), but this Les Paul is in overall excellent condition! Comes with original case, case candy and COA.
