For sale is my Fender American Special Mustang, made in the USA in 2013. The guitar is finished in gloss black with chrome hardware, including a Gibson style hardtail stop-bar and tune-o-matic bridge for sustain and tuning stability. This model has a multi-ply 'Tort' pickguard fitted with high-output zebra coil Fender 'Atomic' humbucker pickups. It is also fitted with a push/pull tone pot for splitting the coils to get you closer to those classic vintage Mustang tones. The guitar is complete with its original Fender Deluxe gigbag, all its original 'case candy' and a genuine Fender strap and Fender chrome straplocks. These guitars are now discontinued and aren't that common. The guitar is in very good used condition, with a few 'buckle rash' scratches on the back, and a couple of small dings on the edges. Other than this, there are a few light surface marks / swirling etc from normal use, but nothing significant. The frets have hardly any wear. The Gigbag is also in very good used condition, and the Fender strap locks and Fender strap are virtually unused. Please check out all the photos, as they form part of the description - I've tried to show the condition as well as I can in them.
