This is a 2016 Fender Japan Left Handed Classic 70s Tele Custom. Always hugely popular, this was a limited run that sold out almost immediately. This product is now discontinued and originally retailed at around £850. This particular piece is in MINT condition, virtually unplayed, bought from new and never taken out of the house from delivery. I’ll chuck a gig bag in (there wasn’t one supplied originally) but the stand in the pictures is not included in the sale. The Classic 70s Custom is different from most of the 72 reissues you see due to its single coil pickup in the bridge rather than the usual humbucker. Many believe that these Japanese guitars are every bit as good, if not better, than their USA counterparts. Usually made in small numbers purely for sale in Japan these guitars are rarely seen outside of their home country except in these small FSR runs.
