Rarely seen in such great condition and totally stock original, this is a vintage 1977 Fender Telecaster in Blonde made in Fullerton, California USA, CBS era. Features the classic Telecaster wood combination of ash body, with maple neck and rosewood fretboard. This tele weighs in at 3.28kg. As can be seen from the pictures, the condition is fantastic, especially for a 40 year old guitar, with only some light signs of use. The condition of the neck is particularily superb - '70s Fenders commonly have dinks all up the neck (often crudely covered up with more lacquer) but this one is smooth and unworn - easily the best condition neck we've seen from this era. The frets are in great shape and fretwear minimal. The hardware is shiny and in great condition, particularly the machine heads which look like they were made yesterday! The neck is a comfortable C shape, with a pronounced fretboard radius and a nut width of 41mm. The tone is pure vintage - with a round, warm tone on the neck pickup and a bracing, authentic hot tone on the bridge pickup. Awesome for country, soul, indie and everything in between! A great quality all-original collectors grade vintage Telecaster - a superb investment or players piece and only increasing in value. For more information on this guitar, or for any other queries, please email us at sales@knightonmusiccentre.comOr alternatively, call us on 01547 528529
