Description
Brand: Arp Country/Region of Manufacture: United States

Arp Pro-Soloist in great condition! This Pro-Soloist was serviced by The Musical Box's keyboard technician (World recognized, Genesis approved tribute band). He said this is the best sounding Pro-Soloist he has ever heard throughout his years of vintage keyboard servicing! This keyboard has a few paint chips and is missing the covers on 4 buttons (aesthetic only, does not affect the controls), typical wear & tear for a 45 year old vintage keyboard! Excellent condition considering the age! The Pro-Soloist is a thirty preset monophonic analog synth from the early 1970's, originally designed to sit on-top of, and accompany a large Organ. It has 30 preset sounds to choose from, including Flute, Bassoon, Brass, Fuzz Guitar etc. Other features include pitch bend, portamento, vibrato, repeat, growl and wow effects. The keyboard has 37 keys (5 octaves with the up one octave and down one octave switch) with aftertouch sensitivity for volume, brilliance, vibrato, wow, growl and even bend effects. A few basic filter (brilliance), envelope and LFO controls allow some tweaking of the preset sounds. The Pro-Soloist is a compact monosynth best suited to leads. Because of its aftertouch feature, it's simply one of the most playable and expressive solo instruments Arp ever made. The Pro-Soloist has been used by Tangerine Dream, Tony Banks (Genesis), Coldcut, Gary Numan, Herbie Hancock, Patrick Moraz, Billy Preston, John Entwistle, Billy Preston, and Vangelis.Sold as is. Will ship to the lower 48 states. Ask for shipping quote. This keyboard will be thoroughly packaged to assure safe delivery. Feel free to ask any questions!
