Note:  All items in our store include NO sales tax to our US customers!Here is a great Antique Huttl Tuba for your buying consideration.  Recently acquired it at an estate sale.  Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself!Really unique Huttl Tuba here with a detachable bell.  The tuba appears to be made of all brass.  The tuba probably dates to the latter 1800s period.  Two of the three brass screws that hold the bell in place match.  Great emblazoning of the maker name on the piece, see pic.  Says, "A K Huttl Graslitz".  Beautiful scroll work design around the maker name.  On the flange of the bell where it attaches to the body of the tuba is engraved "6c".
Minor dings to the horn, but all there.  The valves all move freely.  Mother of pearl pieces in place at end of valves.  The slides appear to be stuck on the tube right now.  Going to put some freeing agent on them in the next couple of days.
Comes with a Herco Eb mouthpiece that is fairly new compared to the tuba.  There is no case with the tuba.  The tuba will be securely packed and shipped to you, or you can pick the item up in Wilmington, DE.
The bell is 24" across.  The opening in the bell is about 9".  The bore is .75".This musical instrument is not represented to be in playing condition.  There most likely will need to be refurbishing done to make this instrument playable again.  Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
