You are looking at a vintage pre serial Ludwig Super Sensitive 6.5"x14" snare drum.
Pre serial Keystone badge dates it between 1960 and 1963.
The snare shell is round and is in surprisingly good condition with very little pitting and no rust, dings or dents. I think the drum is ludaloy, but the shell has the rare crimped snare beds.
The original Super Sensitive mechanism was bent when I bought the snare so I replaced it with one from the 1970s (no extra holes). It works perfectly and still has the original snares with the tuning screws. The lugs and tension rods are in very good condition with no rust.
The rims are Chrome over Brass.
The Super comes with a brand new Remo coated Ambassador head.
