Thank you for your interest. This is a circa 2006 right handed Gibson ES-335 (Figured wood, not satin!).This particular ES-335 model is made with way better quality than the cheap flat Cherry red satin models I see circulating around. This guitar has a gorgeous figured laminated maple body that really does have to be seen to be appreciated (mine fiery red.) The fine grain of the wood creates beautifully subtle color shifts. And also unlike the satin models, this instrument has an off-white binding on the side of the fretboard which further adds to the instrument’s elegance. This instrument also has Grover tuning machines, that are way higher quality then the cheap plastic tuners that will never stay in tune. The neck is a slim 1960s style that makes bar chords way easy to play and I have included some pictures of the fret board to illustrate how good (low) the action is at the 1-3 fret and the 6-9th frets. This instrument kicks major ass, as Father Berry, Clapton, Richards, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Alvin Lee, The Guess Who, The who, and even comedian Marc Maron! The list could go on I suppose. This particular guitar has been primarily an indoor cat for most of its time with me.
