An absolutely stunning ROCK BEAST. Thick mean rich tone but cleans up beautifully, Neck cleans will make you cry ; )One thing I love about this guitar is how angry it sounds driven and jazzy sweet when clean.I am very particular with my guitars. I always search out vintage instruments with minimal to no wear as I personally dont like the weathered or relic look regardless if its real or manafactured.I like my OLD guitars to look NEW. Thats my kryptonite. You will be hard pressed to find a 38 year old guitar that is this clean...pics dont lieThis one has a slim 60's neck that feels amazing and fast and was refretted with 6105 fretwire for a true Custom feeling.  The best size for Les Pauls in my opinion. It is set up with D'addario 9.5's so it feels identical to my longer scale strats with 9'sBeautiful black ebony fretboard with Gold Headstock trim and gold hued Mother of Pearl (headstock) which is rare. Also it is very rare tor a LPC to not have headstock chips...see pic to see how clean the points are. Many upgrades have been done to make this one a sparkling stunnerUPGRADES:
-Gold pickup rings
-Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF Set w/ Gold pickup covers
-Gold toggle switch
-Gold toggle washer
-Custom gold/black speed knobs
-Custom made Gold trim Pickguard
-Gotoh Gold tailpiece
-Refret (see above)

IMPERFECTIONS:
-some dents and dings, most all on side of body near bottom strap button (see pic)
-Some light buckle rash where laquer is worn but not any paint (see pic)My rule for any dents or dings are I dont want to see them when the guitar is on a stand, played seated or standing. This one def follows those rules, but also has barely anything. Must never have left the bedroom. Never left my guitar roomJust look at the pictures to see the condition. If you look at the back of the neck you have to wonder if anyone played it! The burst on back of neck is also a site to beholdPlease note I do not have the old pickups, I may have the tailpiece which the finish was gone.If you are looking for a light weight-relieved guitar leave this ad as this weighs in at 11lbs and in my opinion a big reason for its thick guttural tone. Why am I selling? I play my other Les Pauls more and and I have my eye on something and quite frankly dont have the room in my guitar room so I need to sell if I am to buy.Comes with a OHSC....chainsaw style. Please dont lowball me, if you are interested you know the worth of this instrument. I would rather keep for wall decoration as its eye candy and occasional play before I give it way. Not selling because I need the $$...selling because I need the room and I would like for someone that will play the hell out of it to haveNO INTERNATIONAL!!!!!! If you dont have a US address please dont bid, I have had great auctions ruined because of that
