This fine instrument is set up, tuned up, and ready to play right out of the case. All Gold Tone instruments are hand set up right here in the US. These are fully set up one at a time and not just "lot inspected" like the big manufacturers do it. This assures that your instrument has a straight neck , great action superb playability, and great tone from day one.
The Gold Tone Lap Steel guitar was modeled after and is similar to the Oahu designs of the 50's. A great addition for any steel guitar player. Features a solid body, sunburst finish, cream binding, 25 1/2" scale, 3-on-a-plate open gears with plastic oval buttons, treble clef design on bridge cover, single coil pickup, volume & tone controls.
