Awesome real relic 1981 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop. Added Bigsby trem, with a Vibramate, so it could easily be removed. I did wash the Bigsby with acid, so that it would match the rest of the guitars, faded nickel. Top of the line Schaller tuners were added, ages ago. Check out all of the natural checking/crazing on the gold top finish. This is no Murphy aged guitar, this got all its bumps, scrapes and bruises, the old fashioned way: from play the ever-living crap out of it! Only the best sounding guitars get this much players wear! Recent fret job, (1 year ago pro luthier) with jumbo frets, see the pics. Late 70's, early 80's DiMarzio pickups; Super Distortion and a PAF. The pinup is just a decal, that could easily be removed, with water. It would probably leave a cool discoloration underneath to add to the relic vibe. She has suffered a neck break, long ago, but it was professionally repaired, and as you know, this actually makes the neck joint stronger than it ever was from the factory. Check out the wear on the back of the 3-piece maple neck! Too cool. This guitar plays and sounds great, as you would expect from a USA Gibson. No fake over done aging here, just 36 years of hard playing. Brand new, non-original (Made in Canada) hardshell case. I will include the original stop tail bridge, in the case. The Bigsby works great, though! It actually stays in tune and provides great tremelo sounds. If you are looking for a natural relic Gold Top, that plays great, sounds great, and won't break the bank; look no further. You will not be disappointed with this guitar. I play Metal and Classic Rock on her, but you could easily play any type of music that you desire, it is that versatile. Free shipping, with Buy It Now, only. Professionally packaged and boxed up to your door.
