If you can’t agree to my terms, please don’t bid. Thanks. This is a 1984-87 Fender, USA labeled, HM (Heavy Metal) Strat. It was part of a limited run of Stratocasters Fender did in the late 80's/early 90's. The Guitar Dater dates it being built between 1984-87. It WAS Made In Japan. There are no usa strats with MIJ ser #’s on them. NONE! Fender stuck the USA neck plate on some of them because they were built well and sounded so good. The guitar is in excellent condition for its age and comes in the color called ‘Blakstone’ which I understand is pretty rare. There are a few very minor nicks at the top of the headstock and minor surface scratches on the top from playing but overall in very good to excellent condition for it’s age. It features an HSS Dimarizo pickup configuration. Single coil at the neck and middle and a coil tapped humbucker at the bridge. Two TBX tone control knobs, one master volume and a 5 way pickup selector switch for a wide variety of tones. It also has a Floyd Rose tremolo, 12'' neck radius for fast playing and the action is nice and low with no fret buzz. The nuts that hold in the strings in the Khaler Spyder bridge originally adjusted with an allen wrench but they have become rounded out over the years. I will include a star shaped bit that works perfectly. The guitar includes a hardshell case. It is used but it still functions fine. This is a wonderful guitar in really good condition.
