Thanks for viewing my auction which features a 1996 Gibson Nighthawk Standard (I think) in great condition. The serial number is 92566612 and there is no neck or headstock damage or fret wear. There is belt buckle rash and two small gouges in the beautiful natural back but the remainder of the guitar looks great. The top is bookmatched curly maple with a sunburst finish. The gold plating is rubbed off on the bridge saddles and the twisted pickup surround. The front pickup was adjusted too close to the strings at one point and there is some gold missing there too. everything works as it should and it has coil-tapping on the tone knob for extra sounds. There is a five-position slide switch to change pickup positions and you can get very Strat-like sounds as well as Gibson tones. It will ship in a rectangular hardshell case which is not original but fits well. I don't have access to a scale but it is rather light, probably close to an SG in weight.
