Dear eBay community,I have a mint condition 1957 Fender Stratocaster American Vintage Reissue that is absolutely wonderful. The guitar was made in year 2000 and was finished with nitrocellulose lacquer which is substantially better than the plastic finishes Fender used today. It's the finish they used in the glory era of Fender 50's and 60's. The guitar has sat in a closet for 16 years and comes with everything that came with it originally. All the keys for the case, Allen wrenches, tiny vibrato bar spring, extra springs for the vibrato, cleaning cloth, brochures etc... The case is even in mint condition. The neck is a nice 57 v style profile. Chunky but not too big. I'd say middle sized. Frets look brand new. The guitar has never really be played much. Even the felt pads are still under the strap pins. I believe the body is alder and the neck is of course maple. The neck and body are incredibly resonant and relatively lightweight. It has been professionally set up with 10 gauge strings and low action and plays and sounds like a dream. Think Hendrix, Clapton etc... The tone and sound is excellent.
