I bought this viola at an auction thinking I might want to play it. It has a remarkable low register. I don't know much about Violas - so check out the pictures. According to the label it is from the 19th century and is of French origin ---but who knows.Shipped in a low end viola case - hard plastic and newly purchased. It is my understanding that this is a 7/8 size viola.
