Production date according to serial number lookup on the Buffet Crampon website; Serial #75674 = Production date 1963.
This piece is a one owner Estate piece. The former owner was a professional Jazz musician. This was one of his more high end pieces that he took immaculate care of.This item was taken to a local musical instrument shop for verification. He identified the model # and key. He also verified that the pads have recently been replaced and that the instrument is in excellent working order. (after he placed a reed in the mouthpiece, does not come with a reed) He offered to buy the item based on the fabulous condition this piece is in. Comes complete with original Buffet Crampon carrying case with blue velvet liner. Each piece is hallmarked Buffet Crampon Paris. Condition; Stunning super shinny appearance, structurally perfect. Carrying case liner does show wear.
