Here's a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard made in the USA.....NOT weight relieved. This is the real thing. One of the last years of production Les Pauls made like they were supposed to be made. SOLID! The original humbucking pickups were designed by Bill Lawrence and they have the coil tap ability but the wiring, solder joints and pots have never been touched in 28 years. The original Grover Rotomatic tuners are in fine shape. As far as we can tell the guitar is all original except for a replacement Gotoh bridge. The neck has a nice feel to it, the fingerboard has been oiled and the polished frets have minimal wear. The guitar has been fully set up with D'Addario 10's and is ready to ROCK! The The body is in good shape with some minor dings and scratches but nothing major. The top of the headstock had a couple of dings down to the wood. The back of the neck has some dings (most likely from being leaned against an amp). The back also has some dings but fortunately no belt buckle rash. One knob has a crack but is tight and works fine. It plays great, it sounds great and it looks great.
