After much debate, I've decided to finally sell my Carvin Holdsworth HF2 Fatboy. Killer guitar that was my main axe for years, because it just sounded so good. If you've ever played one, you know what I'm talking about: super resonant and warm. In mostly great shape, with only a few almost imperceptible dings on the body, and the back of the neck is perfect. Plus, it's got one of the nicest Koa tops you'll ever see. There are, however, a few small issues which I'll itemize below, just so they're clear.Specs:- Flamed Koa top- Alder body- Maple neck w/ rosewood fretboard- Carvin Holdsworth pickup set (H22N & H22T)- 20" radius- 25.5" scale length- Sperzel locking tuners- black hardware- original Carvin hardcase Issues:- some minor-to-modest fret wear on a few strings lower on the fretboard (tried to show in pic), very minor wear otherwise - 3-way switch arm broke a few years ago coming out of a gig bag. I never replaced it because the switch still works, but would be a super cheap repair- had occasional issues with the input jack, though I couldn't recreate it just now when I tried. Again, super cheap repair if need be, but wanted to mention it.- some of the metal on the bridge and the pickups has bits of corrosion. this has been an issue with Carvin/Kiesel guitars over the years, so no surprise there. Not major, but worth mentioning. The guitar has a fair amount of miles, but still sounds and plays terrific. I don't abuse gear, but it was gigged many times, and yet shows very little significant road wear (besides the aformentioned issues). Could use a fretboard level at some point, but unless you want the action screamy low, it's probably still ok right now. I just priced this on Carvin's guitar builder, and identical specs came out to over $1800. Because of the clearly itemized "issues," there are absolutely no returns, so please only bid if you understand what is written here. That said, someone is going to get a terrific guitar at a terrific price. Domestic shipping only, due to CITES. Apologies to my international friends!
