Beautiful vintage Martin ukulele made from Hawaiian Koa wood. This Style 1K was made about 1935 with the small gold decal and patent peg tuners. Sold through Bergstrom's Music store in Honolulu with the sticker on the back of the headstock to prove it! That means that the wood to make the ukulele went from Hawaii to the Martin factory in Pennsylvania, and then Martin sent the finished uke back to Hawaii. This all-original Martin has no cracks and no repairs. You can see some wear from playing and the original owner put her initials on the back of the neck, I bet she didn't want anyone taking her precious memory of a trip to Hawaii. The ukulele comes with an old case, vintage gut strings and string packets, a vintage pitch pipe, and some vintage sheet music published in Honolulu. A great package! Worldwide shipping available.
