This ESP super telecaster custom was a one off build from the ESP custom shop in Japan so this is a step up in quality / price from the standard ESP Vintage Plus / 400 series (which are great guitars).Color is pearl white that aged naturally to cream with black binding. Guitar has a flat mounted Original Floyd Rose trem (not rear recessed) with upgraded Floyd Rose branded brass sustain block / claw / noisless springs and all black hardware. I also upgraded both pots / tone cap to an RS guitarworks vintage tele style upgrade kit. Neck has ebony fretboard with large frets and flatter than vintage radius for easier string bending without fretting out. Pickup configuration is 3 flatpole telecaster bridge pickups (very similar tone to P90s), wiring is set up with 5 way strat style. Tuning stability and playability of the guitar are rock solid. The neck thickness is typical of the other ESP strats, eclipses, and Vipers that I have played which is similar to a 60s style gibson; definately thinner than Fender nocaster / 50s gibson profile but thicker than Charvel / Ibanez. It is on the slimmer side but still does have some meat.Definately a non-traditional take on a tele but the quality of craftsmanship and unplugged tone are better than Fender Custom Shop in my opinion. This guitar has natural age which you would pay a lot extra for from the big name manufacturers; this is an honest player and not a pristine collector's piece. Three cosmetic issues that are worth pointing out are two paint cracks (one by the floyd headstock nut and one by the neck pocket) and one paint chip; these are in the paint only and not through wood and do not impact playability in any way - all three of these items are shown in the pictures. The guitar is a solid player grade instrument and would ship packaged safely in a non-original generic soft case.
