Now, all of Crimson's hand built, British guitars are special and unique, but this one might just be the most. This Descendant Prototype, more lovingly known as "Two Face" is one of the very first Crimson Descendant guitars to be made. This is prototype number 5. Not just serial number 5 - prototype number 5! Two Face's lightweight yet sturdy body is made from 1-piece English chestnut, with some very interesting and unique knots in the wood. Even a hole that goes all the way through to the other side! The neck is made from flamed maple, with a birdseye maple fingerboard. The body and neck are finished in Crimson's own developed finishing oil and wax. The guitar has a House of Tone 4-5 bridge humbucker, and a House of Tone Special S Single coil neck, with a 3-way switch, master tone, and master volume with coil tap. Also added onto the guitar is a 3-way treble boost switch. The guitar features Gotoh 510 tuners and a hipshot though strung bridge.
