1962 reissue MIJ U Serial (2010) TL62B Fender Telecaster Non Catalogue Translucent Blue Alder Factory Fitted USA Texas Specials Here's a beautiful Fender custom '62 Reissue Telecaster (TL62B) in rare non-export Transparent Blue on fully bound alder body. These 62's are the top of the line Japanese Fender Telecasters and Trans Blue finishes don't come up very often, so I try to grab them when I can. Like a lot of non-export Japanese Fenders, they are superbly built guitars. This one is a looks and plays amazing. There is some really nice alder grain showing through the body. The binding is nice & tight. She has a 3-ply cream scratchplate, nice dark rosewood fingerboard, 3 saddles, Fender-Stamped bridge and massive sounding USA made Texas Special pickups. There are no issues at all. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. She has some play-wear as you'd expect, a couple very small dints, some very light wispy scratches etc so is not mint, but is in superb condition for the age. She comes with her gig bag. A beautiful Tele. These have now been discontinued by Fender. The cost of importing something like this from Japan now with the £ so low, shipping and the UK’s massive import taxes would be sky high. Like all my Japanese Fenders this is an OLD RUN individual guitar hand selected by me from Japan, it’s not a sterile new production run guitar bought in bulk from Korea or wherever. No more of these are being built in Japan as Fender have moved production to Mexico to use cheaper labour an cut costs (and quality). Don’t miss it, once she's gone she's gone. All my guitars are shipped inside their cases in padded purpose designed tough durable boxes. The guitar will reach you in perfect condition. Message for overseas shipping rates if outside UK/EU.
