Offered for sale is a F/Bb full double French horn by Gbr. Alexander, Mainz, Germany. The body of the horn is unlacquered nickel silver. The detachable bell is an unlacquered, yellow brass Alexander bell with standard Alexander threads. The horn is dent-free. In the picture of the inside of the bell, what appear to be dent ghosts are the reflection of me taking the photo. The valve compression is superb! It comes with a Holton, Farkas flat, hard case. This is an instrument that professional performer can happily play during a long career. The price is $5,000.00, a bargain in today's market for a hand-made German instrument.A buyer in the United States has 14 days upon the receipt of the horn to play and decide whether he/she wants to keep it. If the horn is returned, the buyer shall pay for return shipping. Upon safe receipt of the horn by me, the original price of the horn plus shipping costs to the buyer shall be refunded to the buyer via Pay Pal. Due to United States Customs laws involving payment of duty when a foreign product crosses the U. S. border into the United States, I cannot extend this trial offer to international customers. Customers outside the United states must buy and accept the horn as delivered.The buyer shall pay a calculated, Federal Express shipping cost based on the size and weight of the item as well as the buyer's location. Maryland residents shall pay 6% Maryland sales tax. We accept Pay-Pal payments, only. All international shipments shall go through Ebay's international shipping center in Tennessee, USA.
